Plumbing Technician
Our Plumbing course focuses on mechanical systems, plumbing technology and construction plumbing technology. The Trainees explore plumbing principles, fixture and pipe installation methods and environmentally safe plumbing techniques.
Carpentry Technician
Our Carpentry course introduces trainees to the various carpentry skills required by this building trade and oriented to trade safety practices, classroom regulations, and carpentry terminology. Students receive an introduction to Green Technology and energy efficiency in the trades.
Electrical Technician
Our electical course is used to expose students to a cross section of topics in contemporary civil, electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines to assist them with their education career choices. It covers DC and AC circuits, generators, motors, transformers, elementary electronic devices, and circuits.
Masonry Technician
Our introductory course in masonry focuses on helping students become familiar with the trade. Basic ideas, such as masonry materials and tools, are covered. Construction methods, masonry history and job options are also explored. Other fundamental concepts are studied, such as safety, blueprint reading and laying masonry units. This course is one of the first courses students take in a masonry program.
